London white sugar edged up 1.40 to 542.50 and NY raw sugar gained 0.10 to 20.25. Brent crude rose to $91.66 per barrel, while Indian equity markets rebounded sharply with the BSE Sensex advancing 879.09 points to 72,472.33 and the Nifty 50 surging 288.65 points to 22,520.45.
