RENOVA announces delay in commencement of its Omaezakikou Biomass Power Plant

RENOVA, Inc. announced a delay in the operational start of its Omaezakikou Biomass Power Plant, now set for October 2024 instead of July. The adjustment won’t affect the project’s Feed-in Tariff (FIT) duration, and financial impacts for the fiscal year ending March 2025 are anticipated to be minor. RENOVA will take over joint equity interests in November 2024, consistent with initial plans.

RENOVA, Inc. has informed of a postponement in the start of operations for its Omaezakikou Biomass Power Plant, now shifted from July to October 2024 due to necessary adjustments.

This delay is not projected to impact the project’s Feed-in Tariff (FIT) duration, and any financial implications for the fiscal year ending March 2025 are expected to be minor. RENOVA remains on track to assume control of joint equity investors’ interests following construction in November 2024, aligning with earlier projections.
