Central Sugarcane Research Center of Mahatma Phule Agricultural University, Padegaon launched basic sugarcane seed sale on 09. Purushottam Jagtap, President of Someshwar Factory, and Head of Central Sugarcane Research Center, sugarcane specialist, Dr. Rajendra Bhilare initiated the sale and distribution of seeds by giving the first seeds of Phule 15012 sugarcane variety to progressive farmers namely Satish Kakade, Nimbut Dhondiba Daigunde, Solapur, Anil Jamdade, Y, Namdev Sakunde, Waghalwadi.
Plantation of Phule 265, a high yielding and sugar producing variety, made the factory self-sufficient in sugarcane supply. Use new varieties
