Global sugar prices rallied on August 27, with NY raw sugar rising 3.41% to 18.19 cents and London white sugar gaining 2% to $524.30 per tonne. Corn also increased, while ethanol remained unchanged, Brent crude declined, and Indian equity markets closed lower.
