Wheat Settles Mixed on Wednesday
Wheat futures closed mixed on Wednesday across the three major exchanges. Chicago SRW fell 4 to 5 cents, while KC HRW was fractionally lower. MPLS spring wheat posted small gains. Dry weather is expected in the Southern Plains and SRW regions. South Korea bought 65,000 MT of wheat, and Thailand is tendering for 195,000 MT.
The wheat complex closed mixed across the three exchanges on Wednesday. The Chicago SRW market was 4 to 5 cents lower on the day. KC HRW contracts were fractionally in the red in the nearbys on Wednesday. MPLS spring wheat futures were steady to 2 cents in the green.
The next 7 days are expected to be drier across much of the Southern Plains and SRW regions.
A South Korean importer purchased 65,000 MT of optional origin wheat overnight. Thailand is tendering for 195,000 MT of wheat, with offers due later today.

May 25 CBOT Wheat closed at $5.67 1/4, down 4 1/4 cents,
Mar 25 KCBT Wheat closed at $5.74 3/4, down 3/4 cent,
May 25 KCBT Wheat closed at $5.85, down 1/2 cent,
Mar 25 MGEX Wheat closed at $6.06 1/2, up 2 cents,
May 25 MGEX Wheat closed at $6.16 3/4, up 1 3/4 cents.
